Join us for a morning chasing False Albacore in and around Newport. False Albacore or “albies” invade our inshore waters in the late summer and, by early October, should be some of the best fishing of the season. We have recruited some of the region’s best light tackle and fly guides to direct our efforts. Both fly and spin trips are available, but space is limited. Departure from Fort Adams Boat Ramp (80Fort Adams Drive, the boat launch is located at the southwest corner of the park) is at 7 am on the 3rd and 10 am on Friday the 4th. Feel free to participate on either day. A 20% tip for the guide is customary.
