Hogy Lures Epoxy Jigs are an updated version of the very effective and discontinued Viva Parade Maria Jigs. Both the original and the Hogy are deadly on a large number of species but they’re definitely a weapon of choice for false albacore, bonito, skipjack, and bluefin tuna.

The factory VMC treble is surprisingly durable on hardtails but if your targets are above 20 pounds you might consider upgrading to a heavy duty single. Try their “Heavy” Minnow when conditions are really rough and the standard Epoxy Jig can’t quite stay in the water or you need extended range.
