Bern paints powerful images of trout in acrylic on canvases that are often five feet in width. The impact is stunning because of the grand scale, the richly variegated paint colors, and his profound sense of the fish themselves. Even those who do not fly fish love these incredible images!

Bern’s work appears in a limited edition fine art book hand bound in leather, many private and corporate collections worldwide, as well as in assorted museum shows.

His work is being used by Montana Fly Company for fly boxes, reels, and other fly fishing accessories.
