BangerSaltwater Popper Fly

Poppers tend to generate strikes as they look like a fleeing baitfish tailwalking trying to stay out of the jaws of big predatory fish. We use this on pretty every saltwater trip we go on and have caught Trevally, Jacks, Dorado, Bonita, Barracuda, Sea Bass, and probably several other species. It is fairly easy to cast and a great fly to have on cloudy days when blind casting is the only option.
