The Chubby Chernobyl has become a household name and for good reason. Taking what we loved about this pattern we created RIO’s Big-Boned Caddis. It has the framework (bones) of the Chubby but in sizes/shapes that are much more like the Caddisfly. This fly floats very well and is easy to see. It’s two-tone poly wing gives the indication of a fluttering wing, which is the trout version of ringing the dinner bell.
